Parking Alert for Briscoe Center Patrons
Patron parking will be impacted by two events this week.
Thursday, November 15th: The LBJ Library and Museum expects 700 attendees at a conference that begins at 1:30. Parking in the LBJ Library parking lot will become crowded starting at noon that day. If you wish to park in the LBJ parking lot and do research at the Briscoe Center on Thursday, please plan to arrive before noon. If parking is unavailable in the LBJ Library parking lot, researchers can park in the Manor Garage at the corner of Clyde Littlefield and Robert Dedman for a fee of $3.00 per hour. More information can be found at the LBJ Library website.
Saturday, November 17th: The University of Texas is providing public parking for the Formula One Race at a cost of $20.00 per day in all of the lots along Red River from Clyde Littlefield to Dean Keeton. Researchers will be unable to park in the LBJ Library parking lot usually open to them. Alternative parking is available on a limited basis across Interstate 35 off of Manor Road, and in the San Jacinto Garage for a fee of $3.00 per hour. There is more information on the Parking and Transportation website.
