The Center for American History has an extensive collection of material culture comprising rare artifacts, clothing, and textiles that date from the Anglo-American settlement of Texas (early nineteenth century) to the present.

Items from this collection can be seen in exhibits and on display at the the Sam Rayburn Museum in Bonham; the Briscoe-Garner Museum in Uvalde; and Winedale, a complex of restored nineteenth-century structures and modern buildings near Round Top, Texas.
