Energy & Natural Resources - ExxonMobil - Commercials
The following four commercials were produced between 1962 and 1964 by the McCann-Erickson advertising agency for Humble Oil & Refining Company, Jersey Standard's chief domestic operating company. Attention-grabbing television spots like these were an important tool the company used to persuade potential customers to use its products. Featured here are the "Happy Oil Drop" character, part of Humble's popular "Happy Motoring!" campaign, and the so-called "whimsical tiger," that encouraged drivers to "Put a Tiger in Your Tank."
