Description: Mourning choker necklace has a cross made of hair from Emily Margaret Austin Bryan Perry. Neckband is made of braided center with twined edges. Cross is three dimensional braided. Copper colored endcaps and chains connect hair pieces. A medallion is at the juncture of the neck band and cross decorated with an illustrated scene of a sitting girl and lamb under a tree and a house in the background. Owned by Emily Margaret Austin Bryan Perry, sister of Stephen F. Austin; donated by Halle Bryan Perry.
