Description: Men's leather trousers have inseam pockets, button closure, and buttons at the waist for suspenders. Trousers belonged to Sam Maverick (1803-1870.) Maverick was a Texas land baron and legislator who made his home in San Antonio and owned land throughout west Texas. The term "maverick" for an unbranded cow comes from his name because he let his cattle roam free.
