Title: Infant
Description: Infant’s white cotton gown. Rounded neck, short sleeves, embroidered eyelet, hand-sewn. Sleeves are embroidered with small cut-outs making a floral/leaf pattern. Two tiered sleeve edge, top tier embroidered with flowers and leaf cut-outs, the edge is zig-zagged. The bottom tier also has zig-zagged edge. The neckline is edged with zig-zag. Gown has "V" shaped yoke, zig-zag borders the edges, the center is embroidered flowers and leaves with small cut-outs. The skirt is gathered and has 31 small tucks running horizontally around the skirt. The bottom of the skirt is embroidered with flowers and leaves with cut-outs the bottom edge is plain. The back closes with ties. Donated by the Weems-Craig Family.
