This is one of a few monumental sculptures on the University of Texas campus created by art faculty professor Charles Umlauf. Umlauf taught sculpture at the University of Texas for forty years before retiring as a professor emeritus in 1981. The back of the photo identifies Tom Lloyd taking a minute out from studying for an accounting midterm to relax in the afternoon sun in front of the sculpture. |
