New interactive exhibit at the Sam Rayburn Museum

On November 11, The Briscoe Center will reopen the renovated Sam Rayburn Museum in Bonham, Texas. This is the first major renovation since the museum opened more than fifty years ago. Congressman Ralph Hall will attend and participate in the opening ceremony.

Materials in Actions

Our website has a new feature, Materials in Action, illustrating how Briscoe Center holdings are utilized by academics and journalists in their publications. Recent examples include books on news anchor Walter Cronkite, Sociology Professor C. Wright Mills and former Texas Governor Ann Richards.
