One of the things that amazes me about photography is how complex it is...when you think of the variables. First off, you've got this instrument, a mechanical instrument and made of all these different moving parts that any one of which can go bad.

And then there are things like, "What is the correct exposure, the variable of the shutter speed, the light, composition?" Then, extracting the moment and somehow getting the picture twenty seconds from the time you walk into the office until you leave. It's amazing to me that we get anything at all.
