||Translation of copy of Martos y Navarrete's letter to Amarillas, expressing practical suggestions on proposal of the Junta de Guerra y Hacienda that soldiers who serve in the province of Texas remain as citizens, and land and water be distributed to them as well as fifty other citzens who will establish the proposed villa, and also requesting release from the commission to recuit families and purchase stock for the new settlement.
