Links to online VGA finding aids (which include a collection creator's biography,
note about collection organization, and an inventory of the collection) can be found on our
Finding Aids page.
A primary goal of the UT Videogame Archive (VGA) is to aid students, historians, industry professionals and others
in the use of our collections. All of our materials, save for the very fragile or inaccessible, are available for research within the
Dolph Briscoe Center for American History Reading Room. Reading Room
policies and regulations
apply to the research of Videogame Archive materials
(please note that some items stored within our software and audiovisual collection are inaccessible
due to obsolescence, lack of compatible hardware, or the item's unique nature).
UT Videogame Archive staff are happy to facilitate more in-depth and/or remote research via email,
telephone, or in person by appointment. Visit our Contact page for
information on how to get in touch with us.
