The procedures to be followed by patrons seeking photographic reproductions from Center holdings

Beginning Friday, October 1, 2010, the Dolph Briscoe Center for American History will allow researchers to use personal cameras in the Reading Room to photograph original materials, including manuscripts, photographs, maps, newspapers, books, and vertical files. This privilege is intended only to supplement note taking, not to create copies for publication or display. All requests to photograph original materials will be decided on the condition of the material and copyright law. All researchers wishing to take photographs must complete a Personal Camera Use Agreement.

Patrons must seek, in writing, permission to publish reproductions of any CAH collection and must provide the CAH with a gratis copy of the final publication or other product that uses these reproductions. |
