Photocopies - Fees & Payment
Fees: Photocopying costs, handling, and other fees schedule.
Orders not picked up at the Center for American History at the University of Texas at Austin are subject to handling fees. Any order that is designated for pickup at the Center and isn't retrieved after a reasonable amount of time will be sent to the patron; the revised total will include handling fees.
Texas sales tax of 8.25% is applicable to all Texas transactions. Patrons with Tax Exempt Status must complete the TEXAS SALES AND USE TAX EXEMPTION form 01-339.
Copy orders can be faxed for additional handling charges.
For faster and/or guaranteed shipping, patrons may provide Airborne Express, FedEX or UPS account numbers. Overseas patrons must provide Airborne Express, FedEX, or UPS account numbers. Otherwise, additional invoices will be sent for shipping costs incurred by the Center for American History.
CAH is not responsible for postal delays or losses. For faster and/or guaranteed service, provide a Airborne Express, FedEx or UPS account number.
Payment: All fees must be paid in United States funds.
Payment is accepted in U.S. currency, checks or money orders made out to "The University of Texas at Austin," MasterCard, or Visa. UT-Austin departments may pay by IDT.
For orders less than $50 (including handling fee), which is approximately 200 letter size pages, an invoice will be sent with the copied materials.
For orders over $50 (including handling fee), 80% prepayment of the total balance is required. An invoice with the remaining balance will be sent with the copied materials.
Failure to remit payment in a timely manner may result in prepayment demanded on future orders or being barred from placing any photocopy orders.
