Sound Recording
Duplication of all of our sound recordings, regardless of format, is on a case-by-case basis, contingent contingent upon (1) condition of item, and most important (2) copyright questions. We generally do not duplicate commercial, copyrighted recordings (except possibly for a limited classroom use) unless clearance has been obtained by the patron.
Researchers interested in requesting a reproduction of a sound recording should complete a Microfilm and Audiovisual Duplication Worksheet (pdf) and submit the form by mail, fax or in person to Center staff.
