Mary Austin Holley Diary
Stephen F. Austin's cousin, Mary Austin Holley, drew this sketch of Peach Point Plantation, the home of Austin's sister Emily Austin Perry and her husband James Franklin Perry. Mrs. Holley visited Texas in 1831, 1835, and 1837 and kept this diary account during her latter two visits to Texas. The diary includes sketches of Texas scenes.
